And he can still count on a record paycheck. This amount is hard to believe – almost PLN 20 million will be transferred to the account of the 20-year-old! What about Iga Świątek? It was much less.
The three-hour horror film provided us with Coco Gauff and Qinwen Zheng in the WTA Finals title match! After three extremely even sets, the American was the top. The 20-year-old in the third set was by a hair loss of already 0:3, but a well-thought-out strategy brought her a dream effect. And in the end, a big paycheck.

Recall that the Finals tournament in Riyadh through the financial support of Saudi Arabia guarantees the players the biggest earnings in the entire season. The total prize pool was $15.25 million and was distributed among all participants.

Each player in the WTA Finals received $335,000 (approx. PLN 1.34 million), which is a remuneration for the share itself. For each victory in the group stage, the players received $350,000 each, i.e. over PLN 1.4 million. The promotion to the semi-final itself was not additionally rewarded, while the victory ($1.27 million) and the performance in the final is the way.
The triumph in the title match guaranteed as much as 2.5 million USD! The maximum amount possible to be obtained by the tennis player was $5.15 million. PLN ($0.82 million), but it was known that no player would get so much. Each one was in the group after one defeat. Gauff eventually earned over $4.5 million, i.e. PLN 19.36 million.
Iga Świątek, who dropped out of the tournament after two wins in the group, received $1 million (approx. 4.1 million zlotys). Adding to this amount earnings for the whole season, our tennis player raised a total of about $8.5 million.
