Megyn Kelly has sparked a heated controversy by accusing Taylor Swift of supporting Gaza terrorists and calling for a nationwide boycott of the pop star. The outrage stems from Swift’s recent attendance at a comedy show in Brooklyn, hosted by Ramy Youssef, where proceeds were directed to American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA), a charity providing humanitarian relief to Gaza.
On her SiriusXM show, Kelly criticized Swift, claiming the singer’s involvement in the event ignored the treatment of women and LGBTQ+ individuals in Gaza. “Taylor, you know what they do to women and gays there?” Kelly asked. She further suggested that the money raised at the event might end up funding terrorism rather than humanitarian causes.
Kelly urged Israelis and Jewish Americans to boycott Swift’s concerts and films, demanding the singer issue an apology. “She owes Israelis and Jewish Americans an apology,” Kelly stated, “and I hope they boycott her events until she does.”
The call for a boycott has divided public opinion, with some supporting Kelly’s stance, while others have dismissed her comments as overblown, defending Swift for her humanitarian efforts. As of now, Taylor Swift has not responded publicly to the controversy.
