Trump’s massive rally was as bizarre as anything he’s done

Donald Trump’s massive rally at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York was one his wackiest yet – and encountered some disruptions. The ex-POTUS was greeted with enthusiastic applause as he gave a meandering speech throwing punches at Democrats and Vice President Kamala Harris.

Before Trump took the spotlight in New York’s Madison Square Garden, several allies resorted to coarse and incendiary language aimed at Vice President Kamala Harris and other critics of Trump. David Rem, a childhood friend of Trump’s, labelled the Democratic presidential hopeful, aspiring to be the first female president, as “the Antichrist” and “the devil.”

Business mogul Grant Cardone roused the audience, claiming Harris “and her pimp handlers will destroy our country.” In stark contrast, Eminem was introducing Obama in Michigan, where the former president led the crowd with ‘Lose Yourself’.

The rally commenced with an eclectic mix of Trump-themed displays, including an extended excerpt from the 1970 movie “Patton,” a depiction of the American flag where Trump is seen embracing the Empire State Building while “God Bless America” played loudly, and a provocative comedy act by Tony Hinchcliffe brimming with vulgar jokes drawing on racist clichés about Latinos, Jews, and Black individuals, reports the Mirror US.

Many political pundits have raised eyebrows at Trump’s decision to hold a rally in New York, a staunchly Democratic state where his chances of swaying the vote are slim. However, this move seems to reflect his unwavering confidence in winning the race and his penchant for showmanship.

This comes on the heels of Trump’s comments this week, where he labelled the US as “a garbage can for the world” while discussing illegal immigration. Several of Trump’s allies also used harsh and extreme language against Vice President Kamala Harris and other critics before Trump took the stage.
Trump says Harris is importing mental institution patients

During the rally, Trump made an outrageous claim that Vice President Harris is ‘importing’ migrants from prisons and mental institutions worldwide.

“For the last four years Kamala Harris has orchestrated the most egregious betrayal that any leader in American history has ever inflicted upon our people. She has violated her oath, eradicated our sovereign border, and unleashed an army of migrant gangs who are waging a campaign of violence and terror on our citizens,” Trump declared to his supporters on Sunday. “Kamala has imported criminal migrants from prisons and jails, insane asylums and mental institutions from all around the world. From Venezuela to the Congo, a lot of people are coming from the Congo prisons,” he added.
Hulk Hogan back for more shirt tearing

Hulk Hogan made a comeback for more shirt tearing antics. The wrestling legend insisted there were ‘no stinking Nazis’ at Donald Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden – this comes after the former President was accused of holding a modern-day Nazi rally at the iconic venue.

Hillary Clinton, the former Secretary of State, likened the rally at Madison Square Garden to the notorious 1939 Nazi event. .

The ex-WWE star appeared on stage at Madison Square Garden donning a red bandana and a red and yellow feather boa, waving an American flag. He then ripped off his shirt and flexed his muscles for the crowd.
DNC projects ‘Trump praised Hitler’ message

The DNC projected a message reading ‘Trump Praised Hitler’ onto Madison Square Garden during his rally.

Minutes before Trump appeared on stage, introduced by Melania Trump, a message in large white letters emerged. Other messages that appeared after 6pm included: “Trump praised Hitler”, “Trump=Unwell”, “Trump=cheat”, “Trump=convict” and “Trump=Unhinged”.

Jaime Harrison, Democratic National Committee Chairman, released a statement saying, “Donald Trump has grown increasingly unhinged in the final weeks heading into Election Day; so much so that those who know Trump best are warning voters that he is dangerously unfit to lead.”
